PC tablets are created for your convenience. It is very easy to bring anywhere you go. It makes the information you need available anytime. It keeps you organize because it can also act as your organizer too. You can save schedules, appointments, to-do lists etc.

Some arguments say that PC tablets are consumption devices. They are not made to replace a computer desktop. For some critics, it is just like a giant iPhone that gives you a wider screen. But other technology geeks claim that these are made for consumption too. It comes along with a keyboard that allows you to input data anytime when the need arises. It is a notepad that allows you to take down notes.

In other people’s opinion, the impact of PC tablets on your productivity depends on how you use it. If you use it to take down notes while you’re away from your office or to be a storage device for the data you need in a meeting outside your office like in a restaurant, golf course or elsewhere then a PC tablet can surely improve your productivity. It can make you surf the net which makes it more efficient when you’re travelling because the data that you will need is readily available to you.

On the other hand, if you use PC tablets as a replacement for a desktop and you’re going to use complex computer functions and perform tasks like link-building or computer programming then PC tablets are not the good device to help you with this. Its applications are limited and so are its functions.

It is awkward to bring a desktop with you anywhere you go and at times, laptops are heavy to be carried around so PC tablets can improve your productivity in cases that there’s no desktop or a laptop around. The functionality in creating things is what most PC tablets lack. But it is still a good portable device that adds to your convenience and prestige.
