I finally received my NTIA government converter box coupon today. I applied for my converter box coupon almost eight weeks ago and expected to receive it within four weeks of ordering. It sure did take a long time but honestly, I was just happy to get them. My friend didn’t even get his coupons and it has been over 3 months. His coupons have long been expired. Anyway, after I got my coupons I surfed the internet and found out that the Dish Network DTVPal converter was one of the best ones so went ahead and purchased it on the internet today. I should have it in 2-3 days and once I get it up and running I will let you know how it works.

A TV converter box is a small rectangular shaped electronic device that is used to convert digital television signals so that they can be viewed on an older analog television. It is a very basic device that quickly and easily hooks into the back of your analog television. Once hooked up it will make your analog TV compatible with digital television signals. With the digital transition approaching electronics companies saw the need for a product that would allow people to keep using their analog TVs. The need for this resulted in the invention of the TV converter box. The TV converter box will help save Americans the high costs that they were expecting to incur from the digital transition.
