Choosing An LPN Program As An Alternative
There are many different types of nursing qualifications. You can choose to become a registered nurse (RN) or even take a degree in nursing to enhance your career prospect. But both of these qualifications can take some considerable time and are therefore potentially expensive. It is difficult to earn money while you are studying.
There is however one section of nursing which is often overlooked and yet offers real promise. This is the licensed practical nurse qualification, or LPN. The outlook for LPN jobs looks very good, the barriers to entry are not too onerous, requiring really only a high school diploma and the time taken to qualify can be as little as twelve months.
This makes the LPN program an extremely attractive alternative and a way to get into nursing so that you can gain experience and discover if the profession is really for you before making a decision to move on to the other nursing qualifications.
