Vintage Angels are Everywhere
If
you visit a crafts fair between Christmas and
Valentineâ??s Day, chances are youâ??ll see vintage angels clip art images incorporated into a
variety of the products for sale. On handmade cards, jewelry box covers and even purses, these
diminutive angel images virtually reign supreme as religious icons that have crossed
over to the secular. Angels have become so universal, people see them
differently depending on the context. For example, an angel incorporated into a religious painting is to many a symbol of Godâ??s love. That
same cherub seen on a magnet on the door of a refrigerator can come off as a scamp who may be more mischievous. As with many things, the perception is in the eye
of the beholder.
Fans
of vintage art are often attracted to vintage angels because they have so
many applications. Whether for crafting, scrapbooking or for incorporating into product designs, they lend themselves to all sorts of craft projects. But they also represent renewal or romantic love, so they can be used anytime you want
to have innocence and romance to go together.
